Here are some fantastic stories from survivors of domestic violence and abuse , from the women’s aid help line service user’s , its just to show you that it work’s it’s better to talk to somebody than to suffer in silence , you are worth so much more and women’s aid really do help , they can even house your pets while your refuge , they work at your pace as well.

I hope these stories help you , maybe you are a survivor of domestic violence and you want to share your stories as well , they may just help somebody else to get the strength to leave an abusive partner , I want to hear from you , just comment below , it’s a very serious issue and I have been a victim and a survivor of domestic violence and abuse , but I came through I found the strength to  leave  him , I am a much stronger women for it , I thought it was my fault , I always used to say sorry, I was scared , battered and bruised but not just on the outside inside were it can not been seen , I had serious injuries a broken nose 2 black eyes and thick lip bruised cheek , I said I had a car accident to my friends and family not that they believed me , But I stood by him , he said he did it because he loved me !! That’s all I really wanted , he said he would not do it again ! But he did , it got worse , I thought he was going to kill me ! I had enough one day I left , I did not look back , I did not know about women’s aid , I wish I did , I did it alone and it took time to heel , but if I knew about this they could if helped me a lot more .

I guess what I am trying to say , let’s stick together , your stories might just save a women’s life , she may connect with you and see that if you can do it then they can to !
